About the Band

Average Of Three is a collaboration of three former members of The Second Take, an indie rock band that released its debut album “Just Let It Happen” in August 2019.

After that project’s conclusion, Steve, Lindsay and Mike decided they wanted to make more music together as a live performance trio with a triple-threat focus: acoustic versions of Steve’s original songs from The Second Take’s “Just Let It Happen” album, some fun, carefully selected covers, and…

NEW material written by all three of us!

Steve will continue his awesome business as usual on vocals and acoustic, Lindsay will be taking on more lead vocals and keyboards, and Mike will continue keeping beat on cajón and other assorted percussion (while remaining on his lifelong quest to find the perfect cup of coffee).

We also hope our fans are open to the possibility of some new voices and instruments jumping in on some tunes with us along the way!!!
